Privacy
The short version: we don't collect personal data, because there's nothing here that needs it.
No accounts, no tracking
OpenCopy has no user accounts, no advertising and no tracking cookies. We don't know who you are, and we don't want to.
Cookieless analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to count page views in aggregate — which pages get read, roughly how many visitors the site has. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, does no cross-site tracking, and builds no personal profiles. We see anonymous, aggregate numbers, not individuals.
Your settings stay on your device
Reader preferences — theme, font size, gloss visibility and the like — are stored in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) for operating and securing the service. We don't use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
